Alba Alemany is a PhD researcher in Ecology and Biodiversity of Mediterranean springs at the EDM team, supervised by Drs. Marcos Fernández-Martínez, Estela Romero, and Joan Pino. She will be investigating the spatial and temporal dynamics of biodiversity in Mediterranean spring ecosystems and their association with the main global change drivers. With a background in Biology and a Master’s in Sustainability Science and Policy. Her research interests include biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, freshwater ecology, botany, biodiversity conservation, and environmental law and policy.
